Each of our committees work hard to create a segment of our outreach seminars. Get a sense of each committee in the descriptions below.
CAREERS
​In the careers committee, members create a comprehensive presentation on a wide variety of careers in healthcare, including descriptions, education needed, salaries and more. This gives high school students a more complete understanding of the types of jobs they can go into as a pre-health student.

MEDICAL TERMINOLOGY
Who doesn't love jeopardy? This committee works to make a jeopardy game involving various types of medical terminology to give high school students a fun introduction to the terminology. The committee is also expanding to puzzles, bingo, and other interactive games!

CASE STUDIES
The case studies committee creates medical scenarios to go through in an interactive format during seminars that provide students with a glimpse of doctor-patient interactions and an opportunity to test their critical thinking skills. Students can participate in polls during the case study to predict the correct outcome/course of action to take!
